Antonio RUDINI

Vice-president of IREALP

Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Milan in 1986. Immediately began practicing as an Agronomist, obtaining significant experience in environmental matters and in the sphere connected to rural development.
From 1996 to 2001 he was President of the Association of Graduates in Agronomy and Forestry of the Provinces of Como, Lecco and Sondrio; from 2001 to 2004 he was the national Secretary of CONAF (National Association of Graduates in Agronomy and Forestry).
From 1999 to 2002 he served as Advisor for the CO.VI.LO. (Association of the Consortiums for the Protection of the Controlled Designation of Origin and Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin of Lombardy Wines). In the 90’s he took part in the Building Commission of the Municipality of Piateda, as an expert in matters of environment-landscape protection. The ties and active participation in the political life of the same Municipality continued when elected as a member of the Municipal Council.
After the five-year period 1993-1998, in which he served as Vice president of the Regional Agency for the Forests of the Lombardy Region, from 1999 to 2004 he was the Councillor for the Agriculture, Hunting, Fishing, Environment and Ecology department of the Province of Sondrio. From 2005 to 2008 he was President of ASM Sondrio.
In 1999 he became a member of the Board of Governors of IREALP, the  Research Institute
for Ecology and Economy applied to Alpine Areas, since June 2005 he serves as Vice-president.
