IREALP presents the Mountain Masters Degree

Post university training on "Istituzioni Europee e Sviluppo della Progettazione Territoriale Europea per la Montagna" (University Master in Planning for Sustainable Development and EU Policies in Mountains Areas).

Purpose and objectives
The master “University Master in Planning for Sustainable Development and EU Policies in Mountains Areas” offers professional training specifically for the development of territorial projects in mountain areas, obtained via EU funding. The Master, organised by the Polytechnic of Milan with the support of IREALP and the ADEU-Advocacy Europe Foundation of Brussels (specialised in training community institutions), is aimed at technical and economics graduates, especially for those already inserted in the world of work.

Contents
The Master will be held in Italian and in Italy – The lessons will be held at the IREALP office in Chiuro (SO), in Valtellina – and in English for three weeks for the part held in Brussels, scheduled for the month of December 2009.
The course has been organised in 4 modules for a total of 60 CFUs (university credits): a total of 1,500 hours plus a period of 260 hours work experience in a company and a final dissertation focussing on the processing of an EU announced territorial project.

A cut-price intensive English language course (provided by the polytechnic) will also be held at the start of the courses.
Soon on this site a section dedicated to the “University Master in Planning for Sustainable Development and EU Policies in Mountains Areas” will be activated where all necessary information will be available.
