Fabrizio Ferrari, Special Commisioner for IREALP since 11th August 2010, has worked for 20 years in the banking sector.
From 1992 to 1995 he was mayor of Castione della Presolana, a village within Bergamo Province, while from 1995 to 2005 performed the duties of Regional Counsellor of Lombardy.
During the VI legislature he was member of three Counsellor Committees where he dealt with subjects like mountain, agriculture an environment.
The project that involved him the most was the law concerning the Mountain; the law about chair lift and ski lift together with other initiatives about the touristic field mainly addressed to the Lombardy mountain.
During the VII legislature he was Vice President of the IV Committee (Production Activities, Agriculture and Tourism) and, among the most important initiative, he was the supervisor of the New Regional Forest Law.
From 2001 to 2005 he was President of the Mountain.
From December 2004 to 2005 was Secretary of the Italian Foundation o the Mountains.
Since 2005 he has been holding the President charge of IREALP.
On 11th August 2010, with the coming into effect of L.R. n14, the Special Comissioner for IREALP was nominated.
